Finissage with Artist Talk: Regina (Maria) Möller and Anne-Gro Erikstad
Sunday March 15 at 13.00
Trøndelag Senter for Samtidskunst

Welcome to Artist Talk at Trøndelag Centre for Contemporary Art (TSSK) with artist Regina (Maria) Möller and curator Anne-Gro Erikstad on the occasion of the last day of the exhibition: The Silent Speaker - Part II: The Costume by Regina (Maria) Möller which we opened February 19th.

The Silent Speaker embodies “silence”, “delay” and “the invisible”. Although quite controversial discussed subjects, they imply listening, concentration and focus. These are invaluable features to be anew addressed in a time that is full of “noise”, “velocity” and virtual “visibilities”, which cause in the din of digital life a constant reconstruction of identity. Read more about the project and the artist.

In her artist talk Möller will introduce her artistic working method with focus on her label “embodiment” under which she produced “The Silent Speaker”. Her presentation will be followed by a conversation with Anne-Gro Erikstad.

The Silent Speaker is a project in-progress developing over time from part one, to two and three. The three chapters of this story are built upon each other, and have been created for three different cultural venues.

Part I: The Curtain has been shown in context of the Public Site Project Deep Sites in Levanger
(curator: Anne-Gro Erikstad), September 2014. Read more about Deep Sites

Part II: The Costume is a solo-show in the Exhibition Space of Trøndelag Centre for Contemporary / TSSK. February 19 - March 15 2015.

The entire story unfolds in Part III: The Body written and created for them theatre stage, Teaterhuset Avant Garden, forthcoming (artistic director: Per Ananiassen)
