Experts in Team (EIT) is a course in which students apply their academic competence in interdisciplinary project work to learn teamwork skills to prepare them for working life. It is mandatory for all masters students at NTNU.

- The potential in network based consciousness, a project for investigating interdisciplinary practices within art and science

Science and art, human's highest forms of creativity, have through history diverged into two different intellectual forms. This village aim to challenge the notion of science and art as separate entities with the ambition of bringing down the artificial barriers that might be blocking major breakthroughs in human society and culture.
To do so we will investigate the potential in network based consciousness, specifically aimed at interdisciplinary practices in art and science; From the node genius to the ingenious hub, the Renaissance man 2.0.
Relevant competence
Students from all fields are very welcome, but we strongly encourage students engaged in art, art history, art and media science, architecture, music technology, philosophy, psychology, medicine, molecular medicine, neuroscience and bio- and nanotechnologies to participate.

The notion of common nature in self organizing structures. How does this imply to art and technology research

Engaging artistic potentials within structural behavior.
Designing experiments that explore self organizing structures.

Mediating between art and technology: Events, Lecturing, Social connections, Communication methods.
Debate structure
Establishing a Think Tank with the purpose of discussing the philosophical and practical potential in the field of art and technology.

Self organizing structures – relational processes
"Art, design and architecture have become a question of relational design, which again concerns our cities, the environment, politics, consumer behavior, social relations, life itself.
Life is impure, revealing itself as an open and complex system with porous boundaries, bringing forth an endless social and biological diversity. Every relational system operates on affect, or as we often call it, feelings. Human and nonhuman actions and interactions are expressions of these networked relations.
What constitutes the connective behavior from which networks, and finally form emerge? Is it an empathy-based interaction, or in other words, a matter of feeling?"
