Welcome to the new website of the Trondheim Academy of Fine Art (KiT). The idea is to develop a bilingual platform that meets various different needs of the institution as well as its members and that is built, managed and organized by students, teachers and staff in a collaborative fashion.

At the website development forum we can discuss the further development of the site. Please post any question you might have, report any bug you may encounter, and make any suggestion you wish to be realized.

The design of the beta version is as simple and transparent as possible in order to evaluate the wide range of functionalities. Look and feel as well as proper theming will be realized in the next phase.

The current system is based on the Open Source Content Management System Drupal. Drupal is a free software package that allows both, the publishing of individual blogs or webjournals as well as the management of community sites.
