INTERPRT – 'The Collective Body' Exhibition Dhaka Art Summit 2020

fredag, February 7, 2020 to lørdag, February 15, 2020

INTERPRT, the artistic and spatial research group founded by KIT postdoctoral Fellow Nabil Ahmed is returning to the 2020 Dhaka Art Summit as part of the ‘The Collective Body’ exhibition co-curated by Diana Campbell Betancourt and Kathryn Weir which crystallizes concerns pertinent to collaborative practice in Bangladesh, drawing parallels and creating unprecedented exchange with other collective movements emerging across Asia, Africa, Central and South America, and Oceania.

INTERPRT's contribution will focus on its environmental forensic investigative methods – such as interactive mapping and data-intensive satellite imagery analysis – and its collaborative work on the global advocacy movement on making ecocide an international crime. INTERPRT's (Nabil Ahmed) participation is supported by the Office for Contemporary Art (OCA) Norway and part of a collaboration with the Modern Art Museum in Warsaw and the Dhaka Art Summit.
