Sound workshop with Signe Lidén
Signe Lidén makes sound installations and improvised performances that deal with resonance of places and objects. Her installations are often sonic and spatial examinations of social and cultural phenomena through an experiential form of research.
She has an MA from Bergen Academy of Art and Design and a BA from Oslo Academy of Art. She was also a participant in the travelling audio art programme Nordic Sound Art (2010 - 2012). From 2012 - 2013 she was research assistant in the project "Re:place" at KHIB, an interdisciplinary art project exploring issues of "place" through various media including tim, video, photography, sound, performance and text. Her most recent work has been exhibited at Lydgalleriet in Bergen (December 2013) where she was also one of the initiators of a one-day conference on dialogues between art and science.
