"The specialist - portrait of a modern criminal", Eyal Sivan, 1999, 123 minutes
The film assembles video material from the 1961 Jerusalem trial of the Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann as it examines the term “banality of evil” coined by Hannah Arendt. This historical document is a two-hour selection from the 350 hours of archive footage that detail Israel's 1961 trial of Adolf Eichmann, the man who coordinated the transport of millions of Jews to death camps during World War II.
