I suggest to hire a student to have the responsibility to record lectures at KIT and put it on the website. This will bee in great value to ex-kit-student and other people that do not have access to the lectures. It will also be a good way to profile the school nationally and internationally. To make it happen I think we have to have a person that has the responsibility or else it will just not happen. This could be a job for the intermedia assistant (if we have one?) or make a new job as a "recording-assistant".
A forum where we can discuss the further development of the website. Please post bugs, errors, comments, proposals and further ideas here.
More forums might be a good thing?
that can serve as informal discussion places.
If people want to buy/sell/give away stuff. Or need something.
And also for discussion about random things. Maybe?
Just a thought.
One thing: how about a form for sending in info to the calendar? Some easy, organized way for users instead of remembering an email address. A link under the calendar would perhaps be suitable.
