Quantum reality

Quantum physics, developed in the first part of the previous century, has
shown that our intuitive notions about basic things such as matter and
being are fundamentally incorrect. I will discuss what quantum mechanics
is and why it has had a major impact on our view of the world, both at the
philosophical and practical levels.

Syksy Räsänen is a university researcher at the University of Helsinki.

researcher at University of Oxford, CERN and University of Geneva, among
