“O pouco ou muito a diferença é pouca” is a group exhibition that features two artists who regularly work with Módulo, Carlos Alberto Correia and Pollyanna Freire, and two guest artists, Catarina Dias and Nuno Sousa Vieira.
Taking as its starting-point such essential issues of artistic creation as scale and production, as well as references and techniques used by the artists in their work, this exhibition will alter the gallery space while leaving its original architecture untouched. The presence of sculpture illustrates this spatial relationship, in which photography and sound also play an important role in (re)designing the space.
The title under which this group show develops lends poetic form to the seeming disparity between the size of the pieces and the movement of the viewer's body across the gallery space, offering a panorama of seriality, displayed in pieces that contain similar elements, which contrast with autonomous works that oppose that same serial principle, be they geometric, near-austere sculptures or voices assembled before the grand experience of the sublime and its representation in the small format of a travel memoir.

“O pouco ou muito a diferença é pouca” [Little or much there's little difference] is a verse drawn from “O POUCO OU MUITO…”, a poem written by Jorge de Sena in 28 May 1966 and published in A Visão Perpétua (ed. Mécia de Sena, Edições 70, 1989).
