A one-day symposium devoted to sound art practices and public or architectural spaces. Keynote speaker is Professor Brandon LaBelle from the faculty oa Art, Music and Design at the University of Bergen. Brandon is author of several influential books on sound art and related practices, and is an internationally acclaimed artist.
Also speaking will be Sven Anderson, an American artist and curator based in Dublin, where he has created interactive sound installations in public spaces, and London-based author Daniela Cascela, who has written several books around sound, memory, place and contemporary culture.

The day will include an audio-visual concert in Galleri KiT by the art research project Det Umulige Rom (The Impossible Room) led by Jeremy Welsh (KiT), Michael Duch and Sigurd Saue (Music dept.)
