“What if” is a thought experiment that questions the brevity of our lives which does not allow us to view the consequences of our actions. The artists invite audiences to change our – visual as well as narrative - perspectives on the world: What would the (living-) space look like, if it was inhabited only by microbes and other living matter? How would our every day life look like free from patriarchal structures? What if feminists ruled the world? Inspired by conversations with feminist theorist Donna J. Haraway, Tina Frank and Alex Murray-Leslie turn the Künstlerhaus into a habitat of glass for speculative as well as political reflections, which cannot defy a warning to the world: People (who live) in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
