Kunstakademiet i Trondheim
& Co. are very old and very young. They travel in the arts, in time, place and social meetings. The important thing for & Co is their work and meetings with the world and themselves. Their visionary desire, in «Don Quixote, Sancho Panza – & Co.», is to embrace the unattainable. The exhibition reflects an immersive, self-centred and groping faith in the image, the individual and the place. In a world on the breaking point, & Co. look both inward and outward at their surroundings, through thick glasses of oil.
Patrik Entian and Aleksi Wildhagen are the & Co., founded in 2014. They both have their art education from Trondheim Art Academy, with Entian graduating in 2000 and Wildhagen in 2004. Entian also completed his Phd project «Looking for painting», at Bergen Academy of Art and Design in 2014.
