Becoming Cooperative Technologies:

Raphaël Grisey will be presenting and discussing together with Marie-Hélène Gutberlet different excerpts of films made by Bouba Touré, Sidney Sokhona and himself, colonial films, photographies, drafts and ideas. They will unfold the aspect of technology in his ongoing project by entering the afrofuturist ecosystem of Somankidi Coura, the self organized cooperative founded by a group of former west african migrant workers and activists in France in the 1970s, which became a model along the Senegal river in Mali.
